Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves for it's sixth season, and Indians Baseball Insiders, Tony and Jim, return as your hosts.

This year the show is sponsored by the Akron Aeros and will result in several ticket giveaways, the first of which will be tonight.  Tune in every week at 10:00 PM for the live feed of the show here at IBI Radio: and at blogtalkradio: You can also listen to the show OnDemand, but you have to be listening live for a shot at the give-a-ways! Information for listening OnDemand can be found below.

Tonight's edition will begin at 10:00 P.M., but will run over slot as Tony and Jim have a full slate of topics to dive into. First up tonight will be Opening Night in Toronto. There is so much strange about that sentence, the least of which is the fact that it's a night game. Opening day is still the first game of the season, and the first time we'll officially get to look at this team after their full offseason. Hopefully we'll be discussing the Tribe's first win of the season, as Justin Masterson goes up against last year's N.L. Cy Young award winner, R.A. Dickey. You have to love the knuckleball.

Tony and Jim will also dive into the full offseason of moves, as the Indians seemingly rebuilt the team from scratch. It was a season unto itself, and gave the writers here at IBI more to talk about than the actual 2012 season. This rebuilt team has an entire new look and feel, and we'll be discussing that "feel" as Tony pulls out the notebook from his extended visit to Goodyear.

Spring Training also produced some surprising performances by some players, including a stellar performance by the much-maligned Ubaldo Jimenez. Can Jimenez and Justin Masterson lead the Indians to the playoffs, or is the pitching staff just not up to snuff? Is the offense as good as it looks on paper, or is it overrated? Are the forgotten Indians' young guns going to take another step, or will they get squelched by the veteran influx of Nick Swisher, Mark Reynolds, Drew Stubbs and Michael Bourn?

With whatever time there is left, we'll turn our attention to the minor leagues, our specialty, with a look at the newly listed rosters at each level.

Feel free to call-in to the show at (347) 202-0338, e-mail us at, or post something right here. You can also ask questions via our chat here at the site, or the chat at blogtalkradio. We'll do the best we can to answer all your questions either live on the show, or via chat or post.

You can listen to the show live or On Demand right here at Indians Baseball Insider Radio:
