Smoke Signals 8/29: The Thome edition
Paul Cousineau and I are back on the cyberwaves tonight for some Cleveland Indians baseball talk with another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST.
Paul and I will talk about the return of Jim Thome and what it means to the Indians chances this year, our thoughts on his departure nine years ago, and what kind of impact he may have beyond the win-loss column. We will also discuss the struggles the Indians have had on the current homestand where they are 3-4 through 7 games and if catching Detroit is a realistic possibility. We will also talk about the rash of injuries which continue to hit this team as Michael Brantley is now done for the season and several other players gotten hurt in the last week.
It has been a rollercoaster ride of a season so far, come on and join us and listen in! Feel free to call us at 1-949-203-4752 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about anything on your mind.
Thanks again for listening! No matter how things go this year for the Indians we look forward to another fun year talking Tribe!
