Smoke Signals: Episode 6.4
Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves tonight from 10:00pm – 11:00pm EST. The one hour show airs every Tuesday and is hosted by IndiansBaseballInsider.com’s Tony Lastoria and Jim Pete and is brought to you by the Akron Aeros.
In tonight's show we will discuss the early returns in free agency for the Indians and how they have performed to date. The Indians lost free agent Brett Myers for some time to an elbow injury, but the trio of Michael bourn, Nick Swisher, and Mark Reynolds have been as advertised and then some. In addition to that, we will also discuss the struggles of Jason Kipnis and what to do with him, the evolution of Justin Masterson that is happening right before our eyes, and some minor league talk with regard to the starting rotation options the Indians could maybe turn to at Columbus or even Akron.
