Smoke Signals: Episode 6.9
Smoke Signals is back on the cyberwaves tonight from 10:00pm – 11:00pm EST. The one hour show airs every Tuesday and is hosted by IndiansBaseballInsider.com’s Tony Lastoria and Jim Pete and is brought to you by the Akron Aeros.
In tonight's episode, Tony and Jim discuss the rough week the Indians had losing six of their last seven and four in a row going into Tuesday's game. They discuss the issues with Pestano and Perez at the backend of the bullpen and the lack of left-handed relief which is becoming more of an issue with each game. They also discuss the play of Carlos Santana and Yan Gomes and when/if a change will eventually come at catcher, the solid turnaround of Ubaldo Jimenez, and also some talk about the minor leagues as well!
