Smoke Signals is officially back on a weekly basis and tonight Jim Pete and Tony Lastoria kick things off with a special two-hour show starting at 9:00pm ET.

Tonight Jim and Tony will spend the first hour of the show wrapping up all of the recent news and notes with regard to the Indians as they get set to start the season on Monday night in Oakland.  The big news of course being the extension Yan Gomes just signed and also what is going on with extensions to Justin Masterson and Jason Kipnis. They will also look at the construction of the opening day 25-man roster and look at some quick, early changes that could happen once Michael Bourn and Jason Giambi return. They will also close up the first segment with other news and notes from the spring.

The second hour of the show will turn into a roundtable format as IBI regulars Michael Hattery, Jeff Ellis and Jake Dungan will join in and discuss the outlook of the Indians' season.  Topics that will be discussed include the versatility of the roster, the present makeup of the roster and the future makeup of it, how the rotation stacks up, expectations for the bullpen, who else can help that is not here now, the Francisco Lindor watch, season predictions and much more.

You can listen or watch the feed as it went of live right here at:

Unfortunately, as of right now, Google doesn't allow the Uberconference service to work with the "On Air" portion of their Hangouts, so you won't be able to call in live to the show. Instead, post a question right here in the comments section, or utilize our chat service at the top of the front  page to ask us questions during the show. Please realize there's a slight delay, so give us a minute or two to answer your questions. There are other ways to incorporate live questions, including having guest join the Live Feed, but we'll have to test that out as the year progresses.

Once the show is complete we will add the podcast to this page, though you can also subscribe to it on iTunes. Here are all the ways you can view the show, before or after the live feed:

We should be back in our normal time slot on Tuesday night at 10pm ET, hopefully with the Indians 1-0 and on their way to their second straight victory to start the season.

Just a heads up...apparently youtube isn't intuitive in downloading two-plus hour vids, and you can only download something five times. I tried five times to download this massive pod, and it failed all five times....nuts
