Hearing word that Preston G has been dealt to Baltimore for a low minor infield prospect.....

We traded Kearns for McAllister...Wood was a separate deal to NY that really brought nothing back, but you can lump those two together since they occurred on the same day. Branyan was traded to Seattle for Ezekiel Carrera and Juan Diaz, neither of whom are with the organization anymore.

I thought we traded Kearns and Kerry Wood for McAllister.

Wow. This is a great trade. Really liked von Schamann in that 2012 draft and hoped the Tribe would pick him. Now they got him for a DFA rental.

He's a mix of Tomlin and McAllister and like those two, he'll be a fine 4th/5th SP depth pretty soon. This trade reminds me of the Branyan for McAllister one. Buy low on a legit prospect. He cracked some top20 Dodger lists.
