Alcombrack Looking Forward To Moving Up
This is an article from August 2007. Alcombrack played at Mahoning Valley in 2008 and looks primed to be the regular catcher in Lake County to start the season in 2009. I thought some who missed this on the first time around may be interested in it. In the coming weeks, I'll continue to post several more of these older articles that were written before this blog began a year ago.

The Surprise Rafters continue to struggle in the AFL, as they sit in last place in the league with a record of 6-17. The Rafters team ERA of 7.81 is the highest in the league, as are the 195 strikeouts the pitching staff has recorded. Maybe the Rafters need to take a page from Crash Davis...stop trying to strike everyone out. Strikeouts are boring, and besides that, they're facist. Throw some more...
