Triple-A Columbus outfielder Jordan Brown extended his hitting streak to 11 games in the Clippers 5-4 loss in Louisville. Brown went 2-for-5 with a 2B and RBI and is 19-for-49 with 4 2B, HR, 7 RBI and 12 R during the run.

Smit Back On Track In The Valley
It's been a long time coming for Jason Smit.
After spending the better part of the last three seasons at the Indians spring training complex for nine-plus months a year, Smit was put on the opening day roster for short-season Single-A Mahoning Valley when their season started about three weeks ago.

Rondon nearly perfect as Clippers win
