Well you can't - at least not in real life - but you can in the fantasy world of OOTP baseball. And that's what IBI history buff Rick Lamborn did to determine the best Indians player of all time with a gigantic 128-player tournament. Over the past few years a lot has been made of the Indians draft record of late. IBI draft guru Jeff Ellis has heard many fans lament the bad drafts and wish for the good old days of John Hart when the organization was loaded with talent and seemed to always produce new players to fill a need. His research shows how the last three Indians GMs prior to Chris Antonetti had their own areas of strength and how the draft for the past 20 years has not produced many major league options in Cleveland.

Playoff baseball returned to Cleveland this year as Terry Francona and company surged to a 92-70 record and a berth in the wild card playoff game. That berth makes 2013 a success for Cleveland, even though the team lost in the one-game playoff. Given where this team was at the end of last year, the turnaround is just tremendous. As I do at the end of every year, here is part two of me ranking all 49 players who logged time for the big league club in 2013.

The Indians completed a terrific season last week that culminated in a 4-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Wild Card Game. It's astonishing to think of the progress that has been made in one year under Terry Francona as the Tribe went from 68 to 94 wins. The 2013 season was filled with numerous ups and downs for the team, but everything is pretty much looking up for the future. Join the IBI's Steve Orbanek as he looks back at the year that was in the IBI staple Notes From the Wigwam.

The question is, do you sign both pitchers, or do you have to temper your offers based on the simple fact that Justin Masterson is a free agent in 2014? Join Jim Pete for this week's power poll.
