The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has extended non-roster invitations to Major League spring training camp to shortstop Francisco Lindor, catcher Jake Lowery, outfielder Tyler Naquin, catcher Roberto Perez, infielder Joey Wendle and catcher/infielder Tony Wolters.

Swinging for the Fences: Santana at third and roster versatility
This offseason's Winter Ball campaign has been an interesting and exciting one for Tribe fans for two reasons: 1) Jesus Aguilar ('nuff said!) and 2) Carlos Santana has traded the catcher's mitt for a third baseman's glove, a decision that could prove to be beneficial not only for Santana as he searches for a new permanent position, but also for the team as their versatility would only improve with the shift. For Tribe, the Price IS Right
It’s been a long time since the Indians have had a legitimate, home grown major league star rise through its ranks, and they have that player in Francisco Lindor. Would they ever consider trading him? Well, the IBI's John Mast thinks they should, and that the player they should consider trading him for is David Price to solidify the Indians rotation as one of the best in all of baseball and make them legit contenders next season.

Three players signed by Indians to minor league deals
The Indians have officially signed right-handed pitcher Danny Carela, shortstop Audy Ciriaco and shortstop Miguel Eladio to minor league deals. None of the deals carry a major league invite.
